Warren Scott will undergo further medical chec💮ks atဣ the John Radcliffe Hospital after the Team BMR owner driver suffered a huge high speed accident during the first British Touring Car Championship practice at Silverstone.

The Volkswagen CC driver had set the third quickest ti𒊎me of FP1 but the 43-year old then hit the wall at Copse C𝄹orner with three-minutes of the session still to go.

Whilst inflicting massive front-end damage to his BMR Volkswagen, Scott - citing lower back pain - had to be carefully extracted from the car by the emergency crew a🐲nd was immediatelꦯy sent to the circuit's medical centre.

Following that ✱initial assessment, Scott will now travel to the local hospital, where he will undergo an X-ray and further medical checks.
