MotoGP Argentina: Miller: I almost suffered same fall as Marquez, Pedrosa

Jack Miller says he was fortunate to avoid a similar fate to Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa after suffering heart-in-mouth moments at turn two.

Jack Miller says h💃e was fortunate to avoid a similar fate to the Repsol Honda riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa after suffering heart-in-mouth moment🌜s at turn two during the Argentina MotoGP.

The Marc VDS Honda rider had sympathy for his fellow Honda riders after both Marquez and Pedrosa endur💖ed near-identical falls by tucking the front tyre under braking for turn two.

Miller says he almost made it a trio of Honda riders in 💜the gravel at the same corner due to difficulties handling the RC213V but managed to steer clear of problems to grab ninth place in Argentina.

"It was so easy to lock it up at turn two, I had a few moments myself," Miller said. "The thing with our bike is we have so much spin off o💛f turn one and then on the shift to third gear it s♋tarts getting twitchy for turn two so as soon as you shut off for braking it amplifies.

"As the track also drops away a bit it is so easy to lock up. I know I had about three moments but I was able to catch i💝t. Shame to see both Marquez and Pedrosa crash but I'm hap🐲py to finish where we did."

Assessing his race at Aut?dromo Termas de R?o Hondo as a whole, Miller was content with another top ten finish to go with his eighth pl⛦ace at the 2017 season opener in Qatar and relished a race-long battle against Octo Pramac Ducati's Scott Redding.

"We're struꦉggling to ♔stop the bike with a full tank and I just ran wide on the dirty stuff which lost me a lot of time, especially here compared to other tracks," he said. "That was a shame but all in all a good day with positive points.

"My goal is always to try and finish inside the top ten in every race this year and so far we are keeping that dream alivꦡe.

"I got stuck in a battle with Scott which was actually quite nice because it is a long race and if you have to stick it o🎀ut alone it sucks so it was nice to have a tus﷽sle with Scott and we enjoyed it.

"I would've liked to have been closer to the front position, we ended the rac𒀰e 25 seconds behind, being under 20 seconds would have been nicer and we probably would have if I🧸 didn't make a mistake."
