Eaves hits prime time!

Some would argue that he has had to deal with 'road rage' on track on more than one occasion this season, so Team Halfords Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship driver Dan Eaves should be well suited to his role as an expert driver on the new BBC1 prime time television show Road Rage School.

Eaves, currently in third place in the drivers' standings in the BTCC, appears in a number of episodes - w𓂃hich go out 7pm each Wednesday and kicked off yesterda♚y [7 September] - and attempts to teach three out-of-control motorists how to stay calm on the road.

Some would argue that he has had to deal with 'road rage' on track on more than one occasion this season, so Team Halfords Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship driver Dan Eaves should be well suited to his role as an expert driver on the new BBC1 prime time television show Road Rage School.

Eaves, currently in third place in ▨the drivers' standings in the BT💖CC, appears in a number of episodes - which go out 7pm each Wednesday and kicked off yesterday [7 September] - and attempts to teach three out-of-control motorists how to stay calm on the road.

As in a normal BTCC race, there are plenty of fireworks and strong words - as 🍒the on-board cameras will reveal - with Eaves taken for a ride in one episode by someone he describes as 'the worst driver in the wor♊ld'.

Eaves then took ꦇover behind the wheel to give the motorist the ultimate driving lesson - aro♒und the Rockingham motor racing circuit.

"This p🏅erson thought they were it behind the wheel and there was a lot of the usual screaming and swearing at other drivers," he said. "Then I took over and after half a lap wꦛith me they threw up. At least it shut them up - they were driving me mad!"

E🐼ꦕaves added that he had no doubt how he had come to be considered for the role.

"The BTCC's high profile was the key to me landing this role," he said. "There is no other🏅 championship in Britain that has the ability to open doors as big as this for drivers."

Road Rage School's creator is acclaimed production company RDF Media, which was also behind the hugely successful Faking It series which starred BTCC TV presenter Vicki-Butl༺er Henderson.

"The BTCC was the obvious place to look for a star for Road Rage School," producer Rukhsana Mosam said. "It is full of high-speed 💝drama and entertainment and is also alive with hugely colourful character♒s.

"Dan is one of the BTCC's emerging stars and so was a perfect choice for the role of our expert driver. We look forward to working with the BTCC on futu𓄧re projects."
