Plater suffered a bad practice fall at Brands but will be fine for the 2ౠ4 hour Le Mans event, one of the biggest races in motorcycle enduranc✅e racing, and he stand a good chance of success in the GMT94 Yamaha team, one of the best teams in the series.
The rescheduling of the sno🅠w affected Brands Hatch round has aꦡlso meant Plater will have to miss another BSB event as the new Brands May date clashes with a world endurance round in Spain.
No replacement rider has yet been announced for that weekend bu🐷t Emmett is looking forward to his Thruxton chance.
"I am really glad to be back in BSB this weekend," he said.
"With the one tyre rule it means we are racing on a more equal level. The difference between a good and bad 𓂃tyre could have meant up to a second🔜 before.
"Thruxton is one of my favourite circuits on the 🐈calendar, so hopefully I can have a good result."
