Peter Hickman has revealed the latest stage of his recovery from injuries susta👍ined at ⭕the Isle of Man TT.

Hickman w🔯as hurt in the final qualifying session of the TT, hospitalised although he remained conscious.

He suffered chest, back, shoulder and facia𒐪l injuries but re-emerged into the TT paddock, in a wheelchair, sporting a black eye♛ among other obvious damage.

Hickman has now uploaded social media photos of his recovery process, joking about the similarity to comic book cha🐲racter Bane.

From inside a hyperbaric chamber, Hickman wrote: “Doing my best Bℱane imp𓆏ression?!

“Still on the IOM and doing the hyperbaric chamber twice a day 𓃲to get repaired and back on a bike ASAP.

“Thanks for all the👍 messages and support from everyone, onwards and upwards!”

A hyperbaric chamber enables a patient to br🏅eathe 100% oxygen within💯 a pressurised environment.

The body is then able𒐪 to absorb much more oxygen into tꦑhe blood, which can fast-track recovery from injury.

It is a method used by athletes from various sports. Recently, Jonathan Rea was spotted inside aꦰ hyperbaric chamber as he recovered from a foot injury.

Hickman is a 14-time TT champion who never got the op🌌portunity to ad𝓡d to his race win tally.

His road racing season has been tumultuous. Firstly, FHO Racing f🅷ell apart forcing Hickman and Davey Todd to consider new plans for the TT and for the British Superbike Championship.

Hickman andꦡ Todd 🌄co-founded 8TEN Racing with support from BMW Motorrad.

But Hickman’s TT ended prematurely due to the injuries sustained in h💃is crash.

There is no timescale on his comeback from injury but it is clear that Hickman isꦇ trying to speed up the process.
