Lewis Hamilton (and his dog) spent the weekend before the F1 British Grand Prix behind the wheel of his spectacular super-car with a big history and even bigger cost.

These cars have previously sold at auc👍tion for $5.5m (£4.5m).

Carroll Shelby, a former winner of the 24 Hours of ꩵLe Mans, designed the Cobra 427 in 1966.

When Hamilton bought his 10 years ago, he c꧑alled Shelby directly for a recommendation.
