After missing qualifying and the first race of the weekend, Christian Bakkerud will not return to the cockpit for the Istanbul Park sprint race as he struggles once again with bac꧟k pain.

The Dane had hoped to shak🐈e off the injury, caused by a trappeꦿd nerve, before the Turkish round but was once again hobbled during practice and after sitting out qualifying, it was decided he wouldn't race for the remainder of the weekend.

Indeed, things look bleak for the f🤡ormer British Formula 3 race winner, with his press release simply stating that 'the young Dane is in immense pain and a decision has been made to fly Christian to Austria to spend time with a specialist in the weeks leading up to the next GP2 round at Monza, Italy'.

The DPR d꧒river is yet to score a🥂ny points this season.
