The 23-year old former F3 race winner will run at Spa-Francorchamps with leading FIA F3000 outfit Team Astromega, with one eye on competing towards the end of the 2003 seas🅺on. Astromega, having dalli🎉ed with the new Formula Renault V6 series prior to the season started, has run Tony Schmidt and Jeffrey van Hooydonk in the FIA series this year, although a question mark still hangs over the young Belgian's finances for the rest of the campaign.

The test with the race-winning team is just one of the options being looked at by the County Cork driver and, while he is delighted with the opportunity to sample one of the Lola-built cars, he is also keeping an eye on a number of alternative series, including the increasingly successful Nissan World Series. Funded by the West Cork Racing Business Expansion Scheme, Keohane has a🍌lso said, however, that he may opt to stop racing this season and focus his attention on preparations for next year.
