Mortara joins Venturi for Formula E season four

Mercedes DTM driver Edoardo Mortara will make his debut in Formula E later this year after being signed by Vent🅠uri to its line-up for the all-electric series' fourth season.

Mortara, 30, worked his way up the single-seater ladder before making t🃏he switch to DTM in 2011, where he raced with Audi until the end of last year before switching to Mercedes.

Mercedes DTM driver Edoardo Mortara will make his debutꩵ in Formula E later this year after being signed by Venturi to its line-up for the all-electric series' fourth season.

Mortara, 30, worked his way up the single-seater ladder before making the switch to DTM in 2011, where he ra𒊎ced with Audi until the end of last year before switching to Mercedes.

Mortara was part of Ven𒉰turi's test roster in Valencia earlier this month, going head-to-head with James Rossiter in a shootout before being confirmed by the Monegasque team for the upcoming campaign in an announcement made on F🥂riday morning.

The Italian driver will partner DTM💎 teammate Maro Engel at Venturi, with both jockeying to be in contention for a seat with Mercedes upon its entry to Formula E in season📖 six.

Mortara takes the seat shared by Tom Dillmann and Stephane Sarrazin ꩵthro✃ugh season three, with neither racer currently in line to return to Formula E.

The new Formula E se⭕ason kicks ofꦏf on December 2 in Hong Kong.
