Hauger extends F3 points lead with wet weather victory in Hungary

Rain fell overnight and ahead of the feature race in H๊ungary, forcing the FIA 𒅌to start the race behind the Safety Car.

Af𝕴ter two laps behind the Safety Car, the race resumed with ౠa rolling start with Prema’s Arthur Leclerc leading the way ahead of Hauger.

Immediately it was clear to see Hauger had the pace advantage over his teammate, with the paꦡir going side-by-side through Turn 1 up to Turn 5 on Lap ✃8.

Hauger got past a lap later with a spectacular overtake around the outside of Turn 2 𝕴to take the lead on Lap 9.

As conditions dried, Leclerc’s pace improved as he reduced Haugﷺer’s deficit at the front.

Still, Hauger had the pace to resist any pressure from Leꦍclerc to take the victory at th𝔉e Hungaroring.

The Norweigan’s victory was secured when the Safety Car was deployed again on Lap 18 after con𝐆tact between Rafael Villagomez and Ido Cohen left the Carlin driver stranded in the middle of th🌊e track at Turn 2.

Lazlo Toth collided with the stationary car of Cohen, resulting in the race finishing behind th🦩e Safety Car.

Leclerc joined Haugಌer on the podium, with Jack Doohan finishing third in the Trident.

Doohan’s podium moves him up to second in the standings, albeit 63 points behind Hauger🦩.

David Schumacher🐈 and Clement Novalak made it three Trident drivers in the top five in what was an impressive weekend for the Italian team.

Next up was the ಌtwo ARಌT drivers of Aleksandr Smolyar and Frederik Vesti, while

Olli Caldwell, Enzo Fittipaldi and L🦹ogan Sargeant rounded out the points-⭕paying positions at the Hungaroring.
