Pourchaire “fine” after F2 start crash with Fittipaldi in Jeddah

Theo Pourchaire has taken to social media to confirm that he’s “fine” after being involved in a scary incident on the opening lap of the Formula 2 feature race in Saudi Arabia.

The Frenchman stalled his ART Grand Prix car at the start of the race and t✨hen was collected🌳 by Charouz Racing System’s Enzo Fittipaldi.

The race was immediately red-flagged as medical staꩲff assisted Pourchaire and Fittipaldi out of their cars.

Both driv✨ers were transported to King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital by ambulanc🎐e and helicopter. 

"Hey everyone, Just wanted toꦇ tell you that I'm globally finꦜe!," he wrote on social media.

"For the moment I don't know if it's♈ already the end of the𒁃 season for me. But the most important is not that, that was a really big one and Enzo is injured.

"I wish him the best recovery possible!"

An official update has yet to b❀e given about Fittipaldi’s condition.

The F2 season concludes this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi with Oscar Piastri on🌄 the brink of the title.

Pourchaire sits fifth in the drivers’ cha💯mpionship aft🥃er a strong rookie season and he’s expected to remain in the series after missing out on the second Alfa Romeo F1 drive.
