The Sauber junior team by Charouz has conf꧑irmed it will field a one-car entry at the upcoming Formula 2 round at Monza.

Ferrari Academy Driver Callum Ilott will represent the team’s sole entry following the injuries Juan Manuel Correa suffered in a seriꩵous crash that claimed the life of Anthoine Hubert at Spa last weekend.

Following surgery, Correa has been transferred to a specialist intensive care unit in the United Kingdom to continue🎶 his rehabilitation from two 🃏fractured legs and a minor spinal injury.

Correa was involved in a violent crash on the second lap of Saturday’s opening F2 feature race, wit🦩h Hubert tr♒agically succumbing to injuries he sustained in the incident.

Charouz said Correa🐼’s car will remain in the team’s garage throughout the Italian Grand Prix weekend as a silent tribute ꦆto the 22-year-old Frenchman.

Trident announced earlier on Wednesday that it would🙈 only run one entry at Monza after Giuliano Alesi’s car was impounded as part of the ongoing investigation into the cra🐼sh.

Alesi lost cont𒈔rol of his car at Eau Rouge, which forced Hubert to take avoiding action, before he was hit at high-speed by Correa in the Raidillon run-off area.

The son of 1995 Canadian Grand Prix winner Jean will therefor♛e drive Trident’s sister car, with teammate Ralph Boschung sitting out the weekend as a result.

Hubert’s team Arden will also only ru🔜n car driven by Tatiana Cꦍalderon this weekend.
