Inheriting pole posi🌠tion from Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton who💖 dropped to 11th on the grid after serving a grid penalty, Bottas maintained the lead and dominated the race.

The Finn controlled the grand prix from the front, putting in consecutive fastest lꦦaps at the end of the race to pick up 26 points.

It was Bottas’ first win since R🐲ussia last year - over a year ago.

“I♍ think that from my side it’s 🐻probably one of the best races I’ve had ever,” Bottas said after the race.

“Apart from that litဣtle slide everything was under control, but like I said before the race the car has been really good in every condition, I had really good confidence with it, could really control it. It’s not easy to choose the best strategy in these conditions, when to stop, for which tyre, but I’m glad everyt🦩hing went smooth for me, for once. That’s nice.”

Bottas h🔯ad to overtake Charles Leclerc on track, who𒁃 decided to stay out on his initial set of intermediates in a bid to win the race.

Despite 🍷taking a comfortable win, Bottas stressed that it was far from easy due to the co෴nditions.

“You know, when there’s only one drying line it doe💯sn’t need much for you to good off, so I defini𒉰tely needed to focus all through the race,” Bottas added. “A difficult one, yes, but it feels like a well-earned victory.”

Bottas st♚rengthened his grip on third in the championship, moving 32 points clear of Mc🔴Laren’s Lando Norris.
