The 21-year-old, who is in just his third season in F1, continued his outstanding start to 2021 by finishing fourth at the Briti🌱sh Grand Prix at Silverstone.

It saw Norris maintain𓃲 his remarkable run of being the only driver to score points at each of the opening 10 races of the season, including nine top-five finishes.

Norris has subsequently moved back ꧒up to third place in the drivers’ championship after 10 of the planned 23 roun🗹ds.

P4 at Silverstone also meant Norris set a new record for consecutive points finishes as a McLaren driver, with his stagg𒀰ering streak of 15 races in the top-10 stretching back to last year’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

The record was previously held by two-t💞ime world champion Fernando Alonso, who scored points at 14 races on the bounce across the 2007 season, between the Australian and Belgian Grands Prix.

Another double world champion, Mika Hakkinen, completed an impressive run of 12 races in the pointꦺs between the 2000 San Marino Grand Prix ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚand the 2000 Italian Grand Prix, before he retired at the next race in the United States.

Between the 2010 and 2011 seasons, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton notched up 10 straight races in the points, while fellow Briton Jens🐬on Button twice reached double figures (2010-2011, 2011-2012).

Back w🐽hen points were only handed out to the top six finishers, Alain Prost racked up nine consecutive races in the points for McLaren on three occasions.

During Senna’s first world championship-winning campaign in 1988, the Brazilian completed a streak of eight points finishes between rounds in Mexico and B♑elgium.
