Romain Grosjean suffering ‘sleepless nights’ as he considers future post F1

Romain Grosjean says he has been having sleepless nigh﷽ts after finding out he had lost his Haas drive for the 2021 Formula 1 season.
Grosjean and teammate Kevin Magnussen lost their seats after Haas decided to𝓡 replace both drivers for next 𝓀year, meaning both drivers are likely to spend a year out of F1 with a lack of available spaces on the grid for next year.
Spe💯aking at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Grosj▨ean acknowledged it was not a good time to find himself out of a job given the current global situation amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"If I am brutally honest I haven🎃't 🧸been sleeping well for the last two weeks,” Grosjean said.
"It is a tough year for the world, for the eꦗconomy. It is not 🌳a good year to be out of contract and out of the sport in any way.”
The Frenchman is understood ꧙to have taken part in a recent test with Formula E outfit Mahindra, while he has also expressed an interest in a potential switch to IndyCar.
"I have been looking at IndyCar,” Grosjean said. “I have had some c𒀰ontact and some good ones.
ꦯ"I kind of regret that I didn't check the calendar earlier. There are only two ovals, one short track. But it is something I would consider.
"I spoke with Marcus Ericsson when he went there and he🔴 re𒈔ally liked the different styles. The drivers have a big role to play and the car was fun and everyone has got a chance to win the race.
"Probably now I want to win races and have a chance, and win races where I can ha💫ve fun, so IndyCar is on the list.”

Grosjean has revealed Geor🎶ge Russell sent him a message of sympathy when h💦is departure from Haas was confirmed last month.
Grosjean recently sent a public message of support to Russell after he crashed out of the points under the Safꦜety Car p♛eriod during the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, something Grosjean did himself in Baku in 2018.
“I’ve had a good relationship with George,” said Grosje🎃an.
“When the announcement was made that I wasn’t going to be with the team next season, he was the first and only one to send me a WhatsApp message. That real🦩ly shows that he’s a great guy.”
