Sergio Perez has revealed he was suffering from dizzy spells throughout qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix.&🎉nbsp;

The Mexican was still able to put h𝓰is Racing Point fourth on the grid, one place behind team-mate Lance Stroll.

Perez’s Q3 didn’t go exactly to plan after his first run was invalidated due to exceeding track limits, before setting a lap good enough to put him ahead 🐬of both Ferraris and the Red Bull of Max Verstappen.

"I didn’t feel 100% physically during the qualifying,'' Perez said. "I was getting dizzier throughout the qualifyiꦅng and that is not great to have.

"I🏅 am a bit sore on the neck from yesterday. It 𓆉happened suddenly. My neck hurts a bit but I suddenly started to feel dizzy in some parts of the circuit. Even so, with all that, to be fourth is a good result for tomorrow."

Mercedes and Racing Point are the only teams to have progressed into the final part of qualifying🦋 𓃲on the medium tyres.

Perez is confident this strategic 🎃decision will give Racing Point the upper-hand over its nearest competitors in Sunday’s race.

"I think it is a great resu෴lt for the team,'' Perez added. "We looked good all the way through. I am happy with the team result and hopefully tomorrow we can put it together for the race and ಞscore a lot of points for the team. 

"We have a good pace. We are starting with the medium compound so I t🤪hink that can benefit us tomorrow. We believe that the softer tyre can struggle during the first stint."

Racing Point will be hoping to score b♏ig points over its midfield competitors with McLaren only managing eighth and ninth in qualifying.
