McLaren's Lando Norris enters Supercars Eseries in wildcard outing
MౠcLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris will enter the latest round of the Australian Supercars All Stars Eseries in a wildcard appearance.
The Briton, who a💦lready has a packed online racing schedule including taking part in Formula 1’s Virtual Grand Prix series and IndyCar’s iRacing Challenge events, will drive a wildcard entry for the Walkinshaw Andretti team on Wednesday evening around the Belgian Grand Prix’s Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

The Briton, who already has a packed onli🦹ne racing schedule including taking part in Formula 1’s Virtual Grand Prix series and IndyCar’s iRacing Challenge events, will drive a wildcard entry for the Walkinshaw Andretti team on Wednesday evening around the Belgian Grand Prix’s Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
He is the second Formula 1 driver after Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to make a cameo in the Supercars Esports series. Verstappen took part in the Silverstone and Barcelona round last month, with the Dutchman recording a&nb൩sp;best result of second place.
“I’m super excited to announce I’ll be joining the Supercars๊ grid in Spa this week,” Norris said.
“There’s a lot of fast d✱rivers in it. It’s going to be very t🐲ough, very competitive, but I’ve watched pretty much all of the races so far in the championship and it looks a lot of fun.”
Norris overcame server issues to contest Sunday’s Formula 1 Virtual Grand Prix and recovered from the back of💟 the grid to finish 10th. Similar issues had prevented Norris from taking the start of the previous three rounds.
