Leclerc joins Italian Red Cross fundraising drive

The Ferrari driver has asked his followers to help the Italian Red Cross by donating any amount of money they can afford to fund its charity efforts during the health 🅰emergency.
Italy remains one of the worst-hit countries by the COVID-19 outbreak with over 143,000 cases, while over 18,000 deaths connected to the virus which r꧑emains the hig🌞hest total of any nation worldwide.

The country has been in lockdown for close to one💞 month, with Ferrari stopping its operations since March 19 amid the F1-wide shutdown period which will last for at least five weeks.
“In this moment of⭕ emergency even the tiniest action can lead to an enor𒊎mous result,” Leclerc posted on his social media channels. “Let’s join together and continue fighting this challenge with courage. Help me support those who never give up.”
So far the initiative, which is also backed by Italian celebrities and othe꧑r sports stars, has raised over €63,000.
