Sergio Perez avoids penalty for Grosjean incident in Brazil FP3

Sergio Perez has avoided any sanction from the Formula 1 race stewards following a run-in with Haas driver Romain Grosjean during final practice for the Brazilian ജGrand Prix at Interlagos on Saturday.

Perez and Grosjean had a close moment going side-by-side at Turn 10 through FP3, with the Racing Point driver appearing to force his rival wide and onto the kerb at the exit of the corner. Grosjean complained over t🦹eam radio that Perez had forced him off the track.

Sergio Perez has avoideꦏd any sanction from the Formula 1 race stewards following a run-🐻in with Haas driver Romain Grosjean during final practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos on Saturday.

Perez and Grosjean had a close momentꩵ going side-by-side at Turn 10 through FP3, with the Racing Point driver appearing to force his rival wide and onto the kerb at the exit of the corner. Grosjean complained over team radio that Perez had forced him off the track.

The FIA stewards presiding over the event at Interlagos confirmed they would be looking into the incident, summoning both Perez and Grosjea▨n to meet with them between final practice an🐲d qualifying to discuss the alleged impeding on-track.

The stewards swiftly confirmed that there would be🌸 no action taken against Perez f﷽or the incident.

"The Stewards reviewed video evidence, heard from the drivers of Car 11 (Sergio Perez) and Car 8 (Romain Grosjean) and the team representatives," the bu𒆙lletin reads.

"Both drivܫers were on slow laps with Grosjean about to enter the pits, and Perez was setting up for a fast lap. While the interaction between the cars was 'untid🤡y', neither was particularly disadvantaged and the Stewards agreed that it was not dangerous.

"Therefore the Stewa🦂rds agreed that No Further Action was necessary."

Grosjean and Perez finished 16th and 17th respectively in final practice🍰 in Brazil.

Qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix begins at 1800 GMT on Saturday (ꦡ1500 lo🌳cal time).
