Proceeds made by the auction of the F2002💦 will go towards the Keep Fighting Foundation - a charity set up by Schumacher’s family following his skiing accident in 2013.
A number of F♔1 cars will be up for sale during RM Sotheby’s auction, including a restored 1990 F40 signed by current Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel.
Fans and registered bidders will be able to watch the F1 cars be paraded down the Yas Marina start-f♉inish straight and driven along the pitlane prior to the auctio✅n getting underway.
“The Michael Schumacher F2002, chassis no. 219, is truly special; it represents one of the last Rory Byrne-desig🔯ned, V10 era cars and was like a guided missile in acquirജing wins on route to a Championship won with sheer racing dominance,” said RM Sotheby car specialist Oliver Camelin.
“As a result, it remains as one of the most dominant Formula 1 racing cars in history and is fittingly joined by the ultimate in Ferrari supercars in 🍬the virtually as-new Ferrari F40.
“As we proceed with considering consignments for the Abu Dhabi auctioജn we look forward to an exciting year in partnership with Formula 1 that will include an RM Sotheby’s presence at some of the most notable circuits around the world.”
