“I hope coming here we can be competitive and back to our usual level. I think all seas▨on we’ve been struggling for pace. I hope this weekend can be a good weekend for us where we can score plenty of points.”

Asked 𒆙if the team has any answers for itಞs lack of pace in Barcelona, Perez replied:

“None at the moment. We still an🦹alysing a few bits but we don’t have a specific answer for our poor performance𝐆 there.”

Racing Point is expecting to introduce a new package in time for tꦕhe German Grand Prix but Perez insists it is “very important” his side rediscovers its form before theಞn.

“There are a lot of races from now to Germany,” he added. “Important to think race by race, now we have a big opportun🌠ity, the best thing we can do is max🐻imise the opportunities.

“We know the midfielꦚd, after five races, we are fifth in the championship, so it’s down to maximising every single race and that will be key this weekend again.

“Go there and maximise chances and make sure you get the most out of it and by doing that every weeken𝔍d once you have a more competitive car it will be a bit easier.”
