Pierre Gasly takes new gearbox for Azerbaijan GP after Friday penalty
Pierre Gasly has taken a fresh gearbox ahead of this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix af൩ter being resigned to a pit lane start following an infringement in practice on Friday.
Gasly failed to stop for the FIA weighbridge at the end of FP2 at the Baku City Circuit, with the stewards punishing the Red Bull driver by forcing him to start Sunday's raceಌ from the pit lane.
In light of the penalty, Red Bull has opted to change the gearbox on Gasly's car prior to Saturday's sessions in Azerbaijan, as confirmed by FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer fol𝔉lowing the start of FP3 in Baku.

The FIA also conf🔥irmed that Williams' George Russell has taken a new energy store and control electronics on his power unit following his accident on Friday.
Russell remains within the season 💖limit, so will not receive any penalty.
