Gasly will change driving style after ‘fighting’ Red Bull F1 car
Pierre Gasly will change his driving style in a bid to adapt to his Red Buꦦll Formula 1 car after struggling to get to grips with the RB15.

Following up on his first points finish of the year in Bahrain, Gasly scored his first Q3 appearance o🍌f the campaign in China as he qualified sixth on the Shanghai grid behind teammate Max Verstappen.

“I think that was the best I could expect,” Gasly told Sky Sports after qual💫ifying.
“It was still a tricky weekend so I think we can be happy with the position but I’m not satisfied with my driving. I’m still struggli🐭ng with the car so there is still some work to do.”
Asked where he is struggling specifically, Gasly replied: “Basically with all ꦬthe traction on the exits, I struggle to put the power down and fight a lot with the car.
“I know the things I need to work on, and I probably n🅺eed to change a bit my driving style and with the team working together to find the direction to make it a bit more suitable for myself.
“The set-up is slightly different [compared to Verstappen] but basically we can see that I’m figh𝔍ting [the car] more.
“Also we can see that I am a♏ bit more aggressive with the way that I go on the power, which doesn’t help with this car.
“It was OK💖 last year [in the Toro Rosso] so I think I need to change a bit the way I drive to get the maximum from t🉐his car.”
Gasly said he aims to try and learn from Verstappen and ta𒊎ke ꧋advantage of his teammate’s experience working within Red Bull.
“When you are in F1 that is the first thing you look at, your teammat🧸e,” he explained. “Especially with him and the fact he has worked with the team, he’s really fast and I have a lot of things to learn from him with his experience inside the team.
“For sure I try to get the maximum out of it and ಌstill not satisfied. But I think working with the team progressively we will get ther🐭e.”
