Billy Monger joins C4 F1 broadcasting team for 2019 season
Billy Monger will b✃e part of the Channel 4 broadcasting team for the upcoming 2019 Formula 1 season.
The 19-year-old F꧑ormula 3 driver joins ex-F1 drivers David Coulthard and Mark Webber as part of Channel 4’s line-up foꦺr 2019, with presenter Steve Jones once again fronting C4’s coverage.
While UK viewers have lost full-season free-to-air TV coverage for 2019, C4 will broadcast all sessions from the British Grand Prix live, as well as pr🅺oviding a highlights package from each round of the campaign.

Monger will dovetail his yet-to-be-announced racing programme aloᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚngside his new TV role in 2019.
“I’m delighted to join the Channel 4 F1 team this season workingꩲ around my own racing calendar,” Monger sওaid.
“I’ve been 𝓰watching the F1 coverage on TV since I was little and whilst my goal remains to be racing in one of the cars out on track one day, I am really excited to get broadcasting from the paddock th💝is year.”
ಌMonger made a remarkable comeback to single-seater racing last year after having both of his legs amputated following a horrific crash during a Formula 4 race at Donington Park in 2017.
The Briton claimed four podiums and finished sixth in the 20▨18 British F3 standings🉐, while he also took a pole position on his return to the Leicestershire circuit in September.
He was honoured with the Helen Rollason Award at the 2018 BBC Sports Personality of the Year show for outstanding achievement in the face of adversity. At the end of last year Monger said he was targeting a move into the all-new F🐠IA F3 series for 2019.
