The FIA did not specify at the tim♔e what form Verstappen's public service would take, but it has emerged the Dutchman will be present in Marrakesh this weekend for the Formula E race to work with the FIA-appointed stewards.

"Max Verstappen will attend the Marrakesh E-Prix as a result of the stewards’ decision at the 2018 Brazili♕an Formula One Grand Prix," a statement from the FIA read.

"Verstappen will spend the day as an observer to the stewards, closely following their♑ work at a top-level international motor sport event as part of the educational and informative approach taken by the FIA in this matter."

Verstappen's public service is similar to that completed 🔯▨by Sebastian Vettel in the wake of his clash with Lewis Hamilton in Baku in 2017, when he appeared by video link at an FIA stewarding conference.

All sessions for the second round of the new Formula E season take p🍷lace on Saturday at the Ci♚rcuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan in Marrakesh, starting at 8am local time.
