Daniel Ricciardo has moved to clarify his post-race comments following his frustrating Mexica𝓰🦂n Grand Prix which saw retire with a mechanical issue having started on pole position.

The Australian driver endured his sixth mechanical DNF of the year in Mex🧸ico which came back-to-back with his retirement from the United States race while also having technical issues prematurely cut s🏅hort his qualifying at Circuit of the Americas.

Venting his frustration at his situation during the post-race media session, Ricciardo remarked he may not race at the final two rounds with Red Bull and 'let Gasly driv༒e it' – with the French driver replacing the Renaꦰult-bound Australian fไor 2019.

Despite the co💦mments being made in the heat of the moment, Ricciardo has taken to his Instagram account to confirm he will contest the final two races of 2018 with Red Bull in Brazil an🌺d Abu Dhabi.

“I want to address a few things from Meꦰxico,” Ricciardo said. “First one first I will be doing the last two races as it is what I am about and I am not about that other life.
