The pair, only the second father-and-son combination to win F1 world championships after Graham and Damon Hill, took to the Monte Carlo streets in their old F1 machinery for a two-lap run followꦰing opening practice ahead of this weekend’s race.
Keke was behind the wheel of his 1982 title-winning F1 car - the Williams 🥂FW08 - while Nico returned to the cockpit of the Mer📖cedes W07 that took him to his maiden championship crown in 2016.
Running at relatively slowꦅ speeds, Keke initially led Nico around the 2.074 mile street circuit, before the father-and-son duo swapped positions on the run to the Nouvelle Chicane having exited the tunnel, with Nico letting off a dramatic puff of smoke as he locked both front tyres under braking.
They returned to the start-finish straight to conclude the demonstration♉ run by parking their respective F1 cars in the slots that mark the front-row of the Monaco grid.
