Vettel was left fuming by the incident as he was forced to abandon his Fe♐rrari and get a ride back to the pits sat on Pascal Wehrlein's Sauberꦰ.
"I hanged around ꩲthe outside, to pick up a bit of rubber. I think Lance wasn't looking and want💧ed to do the same but that was too late," Vettel said.
"I was already there and then we had contact which was completely unnecessary. I think 𒐪he just didn't look and then decided to go and pick up some rubber."
The stewards confirmed shortly after the race that no action would be taken against either driver for the incident, leaving th👍eir finishes of P4♔ and P8 respectively intact.
