Formula 1 bosses have held talks with Westminster City Council regarding a possible demonstration through the streets of London this summer that would incorporate many of♕ the city's major landmarks.

F1 last held an event through the str🐷eets of London in 2004 ⛄when a number of cars and drivers completed a run from Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus.

A recent cha♍nge in UK law to permit streets being used for motorsport competition revived hope that a grand prix could one day be held in the centre of London, and while this remains some way off, another show𝓰 run is under consideration.

"Officers from the Greater London Authority and Westminster City Council have met with event organisers about a po𒅌tential showcase event in central London, not a race," a statement from Westminster City Council reads.

"Discussions are at a very e𓃲arly stage and as such nothing has been agreed."

Multiple rep🥂orts have suggested that the show-run could go ahead as early as this summer, taking place in the l🌌ead-up to the British Grand Prix on July 16.

Since completing its takeover of F1 in Janu♊ary, Liberty Media has been pushing to hold more events in cities, and is thought to be pursuing a night race in New York City as a headline project for 🌸the sport.
