Within the first 21 laps𝓰 of the 51-lap grand prix, both Ferraris were ♎forced to retire due to mechanical issues.
Sainz was out on Lap 9 due to a hydraulic-related issue, while an engine issue cost Lecler🐓c a shot at the win 12 laps later.
It means Verstappen now has a 21-point lead over his teammate, but Red Bull’s gap over Ferrari is enormous, 80 po🍸ints between the two teams.

Canada F1 Circuit - Key Info
The Canadian Grand Prix takes place at the iconic Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. Named after the💙 legendary Ferrari F1 driver, the circuit iꩲs a fan favourite with its long straights and tight chicanes often providing good racing.
The circuit is 🐈4.361 km (2.710 miles) and consists of 14 corners.
Its most infamous corner is the ‘wall of champions’, appropriately named after Damon Hill, Michael Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve along with FIA GT champion 🎃Ricardo Zonta, who all crashed at the corner in the 1999 race.
