George Russell will combine his maiden foray into F2 with ART Grand Prix alongside sharing a test and reserve driver role fo🧜r Mercedes with former F1 driver P🦹ascal Wehrlein.

The Briton ﷽enjoyed a strong 🌞pre-season test with ART, but like Norris, faces the prospect of a tough rookie campaign in F2, competing against strong team and driver line-up combinations.

Russell heads into what looks to be the most important year of his career so far on the back of a convincing title-winning season in GP3, as he w𝓰rapped up the championship with a round to spare having taken four victories across what was a remarkably consistent campaign. He ended 2017 by contesting his first F1 practice session outings with Force I𓆉ndia in Brazil and Abu Dhabi.
