Team Dynamics Honda driver Gordon Shedden has opened his 20🐷22 British Touring Car Championship victory acc✃ount after beating Tom Ingram to the race two win at Donington Park.

The three-time champion emerged from the opening lap in the position he started fromಌ in third after falling behind the fast-starting BMW of Georg🃏e Gamble, but regained a place at the expense of Colin Turkington, who stalled his 330e M Sport from second on the grid.

With the BTCC rookie Gamble finding himself in uncharted position in second, it didn't take long for ඣShedden to pressure the newcomer into a mistake at the end of🐽 lap three before swiftly moving past the Car Gods BMW 3 Series into second position.

Shedden then set about hunting down the race leading Hyundai i30N of Tom Ingram, who as virtue of winning race one, had less Hybrid power to use tha𓄧n the Team Dynami🐽cs Honda.

The Team Dynamics driver eventually pounced and took the lead of the race on🍃 lap 10, but Ingram maintained the pressure on Shedden right until the very end of the race.

Ingram appeared to save what little Hybrid power he had to launch one🉐 final attack on Shedden's lead on the last lap of the race. The EXCLER8 Motorsport driver came close, but Shedden held his nerve to record his first victory of the year.

Rich Racing BTC Honda's Josh Cook continued his recovery f📖rom a difficult qualifying by finishing in fifth position ahead of defending champion Ash Sutton, who fell slightly further down the o𝓡rder to sixth.

Team HARD's Bobby Thompson posted a strong drive t꧒o score a seventh-place finish, beating EXCELR8 Hyundai's Dan Lloyd by just 0.1s across ꧑the line.

Having 𝐆suffered the heartache of being excluded from race one after failing the obligatory ride-height check, Jake Hill fought valiantly fro𓂃m the very back to finish in ninth.

The ROKiT MB Motorsport ♚driver's efforts were further rewarded after his finishing position was picked in the reverse grid draw, meaning Hill will start race three from pole position.

Toyota Gazoo Racing UK's Rory Butcher completed the top-ten in tenth, while Team BMW's Turkington recovered from his start-line stall♎ to finish in 14th behind Jason Plato in 13th.
