BTCC: Proctor joins BMR for 2019 BTCC campaign
Senna Proctor will return ꧑to the BMR Racing fold for the 2019 British Touring Car Championship after being announced as the first driver for the Subaru team ahead of the upcoming season.
Proctor competed in the Ginetta Junior Championship, as well as the Renault Clio Cup UꦆK series under the BMR Academy during the 2015 and '16 seasons before graduating into the BTCC with Power Maxed Racing inಞ 2017.
The 20-year old finished 12th in last year's BTCC drivers' standings after taking his first victory during the o♏pening weekend of the season at Brands Hatch.

“I am very excited to be returning to BMR Racing for 2019,” said Proctor. “When the call came in everything seemed to fit perfectly and it was an easy decision to make. Having raced under the BMR banner in 2015 and 2016, I fe🌄lt the timing was right," said Proctor.
“I would like to thank everyone at BMR 🎀for putting their faith in me. I can’t wait to get out testing and sample the Subaru Levorg – I think rear-wheel drive will really su✅it my style.
“After two successful years in the BTCC, I have꧒ found my feet and I am ready for the next step. My aim this year is to win races and to be in with a shot of the title come the last round of the se𝓰ason.”
Subaru will also continue its partnership with BMR Racing for a fourth successive season, while Adrian Flux stay on as the Subaru outfit's title sponso♐r for the 2019 campaign.
Subaru UK Managing Director, Paul Tunnicliffe says adding to Ash Sutton's 2017 drivers' title with a manufacturers' crown is high on the agenda this season🐷.
“There’s much more to come from our involvement in the BTCC. Delighted though we were with Ash Sutton’s epic Drivers’ title in 2017, we feel the superiority of the Subaru L🦩evorg really deserves victory in the Manufacturers’ championship," said Tunnicliffe.
