Snetterton BTCC: Jordan awaits grid penalty ruling

Reigning British Touring Car champion Andrew Jordan says his success at Snetterton this weekend will be dependent on a grid penalty that he could be handed for his clash with Fabrizio Giov🌞anardi at Croft.
Jordan faces a heightened bat𒆙tle to retain his hard earned maiden BTCC-crown from last year as the resurgence of WSR BMW has given Colin Turkington the upper hand in the title race while the Pirtek-driver trails third, almost 30-poin▨ts off the pace.
However, to compound matters further Jordan travels to Norfolk under the cloud of potentially receiving a te🎃n-grid place penalty following his clash with Airwaves' Fabrizio Giovanardi as the pair vied for lead in the final Croft showdown.
Having appealed the decision Jordan kept his victory but th🐷e TOCA race stewards will dﷺecide whether his actions warrant further sanctions for this weekend's proceedings.
Moving back on-track, although the success his weekend depends largely on the looming penalty, the 2013 champion says he and his Pirtek-squad had a productive summer break in improving their Honda Civic, citing tꦚyre preservation as their main weapon.
"A lot depends on the grid penalty," says Jordan. "But it doesn't change our approach to the🔯 w𓃲eekend. We have done some testing during the break and found some improvements, so I'm very happy with that.
"Now the championship is all about consistency. We're only five points off our 2013 score at this꧂ point of the season. I'm really looking forward to going racing again. Our car is very good on t🤪he tyres, so we'll be in good shape if the weather stays hot."
Giovanardi told wuqian0821.com that he was under no illusions that 168澳洲5最新开奖结果:Jordan was at fault for his exit from the race in Croft.
