Everything `going to plan` for Leason.

After a tough start to life with the BTC Racing team at Brands Hatch, Nick Leason says he is looking forward to racing on home soil this weekend as the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship heads to Rockinghജam for the second round of the season.

Leason was forced to retire from race two and then missed race three on the opening weekend of the season due to an engine problem, although his Lexus🅰 IS200 has been fitted with a new power plant ahead of the weekend to try and resolve the issue.

After a tough start to life with the BTC Racing team at Brands Hatch, Nick Leason says he is looking forward to racing on home soil this wee𒈔kend as the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship heads to Rockingham for the second round of the season.

Leason was forced to retire from race two and then missed race three on the opening weekend of the season due to an engine problem, although his Lexus IS200 has been fitted 🧔with a new power plant ahead of the weekend to try and r🐓esolve the issue.

The only real problem Leason now faces going into the weekend is a lack of time in the car with his first weekend of running having been cut short, but he remains confident of a solid showing on h🥂is home circuit.

"Everything is going to plan," he said. "I have a new engine in after the problems we had being down on power at Brands and then it finally letting go at the start of race two and I'm really looking forward to the week🐻end. I just want to do a good job in front of my home crowd, pro𝄹ve a point and get some solid points finishes.

"My sponsors Ensafe, Pentagon a💯nd Aspect are all c🌃oming down and I want to put on a good show for them. And of course I am backed by Rockingham where we will be racing.

"We do need to get miles under our belt but as we know from Brands, the potential is fantastic. The set-up is very good after the changes that have been made and hopefully we will have more power for this weekend. There are a lot of tight and twisty parts to the circuit and hopefully our good handling will get u🌸s up there."

Leason added that ꦫhe saw no reason why he can't aim for a place inside the top ten in the three races, with team-mate Ch🌳ris Stockton having already achieved the feat in the opening rounds of the season.

"There is no reason why we can't get in the top ten every time," he said. "The t🎶eam have been wo꧙rking very hard to make sure we can."
