Storm Stacey will remain with the GR Motorsport team fo🏅r the 2021 British Superbike Championship as he looks to build on his hi꧒storic maiden campaign in the series.

At 17, Sta𒈔cey stepped up from Superstock 600 to become the🔴 youngest rider to start a BSB race when he lined up for the Donington Park opener in August before going on to become the youngest rider to score a point when he finished 15th at Silverstone. 

Ending the year with a best result of 13th, f𝄹or 2021 Stacey will remain with the GR Motorsport squad w🌠ith a view to building on that promise.

“I feel like this year went really well for me and I scored points on more than one occasion, which was the aim for my first seas𓆉on in BSB. I think the highlight was at Donington Park where during the race I was running in the top ten, although I did fall back a bit towards the end of the race, I was racing against some big names, and also beat some of them this year so that felt good.

“I have learnt a lot this ye🌠ar; especially that one of the things with the Superbike is that the slower you think you go the faster you actually are; it is weird. It’s basically t𝕴he more you chill out, the faster you go – if you are almost asleep you are fast and do better! One thing I have found is that in qualifying, you need a good position; it is so hard to get through the pack in this class, and so that is also something to work on for next season.

“In 2021🎃 I want to le🃏arn more and keep finding my feet in this championship, because I only did it in the races last year as we didn’t really do a lot of testing. Again, next season will be another year of testing, finding out what works for me, how we want the bike set-up and I would like to be pushing for the top ten or even maybe a bit better! But I would be happy with top ten finishes and see what happens.”
