Marc Marquez on wet conditions

The forecast iওs unstable. In the wet, everythinಌg is open.

It is less physically demanding.

The grip of the track🌜, the am🌊ount of water... we will see.

It was a really positive weekend for me and the team🎉. It was important to have a solid weekend for motivation, for good news inside the garage.

I finished the race ꦅin a good way. Of course I was quite careful, especially due to my condition and the soft rear tyre.

I got ♚kilometres which is the mo🍸st important thing.

In Motegi in the race, I wasn't able to attack on the last lap because I felt pain꧟ which meant I lost power and concentration.

Mo🎶tegi was the first time that on the last lap I was able to keep pushing.

It's t♐rue that I had a lack of power✨ but this is normal.

In Japan the weather helped. It didn't stress so much the bod♔y. ♊I felt this.

During this week, I took mor♕e time than I expected to recover!

On Tuesday my arm was completely stiff. Today I feel bet🏅ter. Tomorrow will not be a problem.

I did a full weekend on dry on aluminium a𝓡nd🍌 on wet on carbon. Here, we will do the same strategy.

In future we need to try again.

We will try, if we have time, a few big things to understand the concept. It is not the best thing to achieve ꦰthe best result. But I am here to work for next season.

Thaila🔜nd - I like it. Really good memories from 2018 and 2019.

This year we are not in the same situation. We will 𒊎not be on the last lap fighting for the victory.

We are slowly ♉starting to get back into the direction that we need. This is my first time here on the MotoGඣP bike.

The weather looks sketchy to say the least. If we get dry track ti𓆏me we can take advantage.

We need to keep the ball rolling.

Things are so tight in 🌠MotoGP. Even qualifying 9t🏅h-12th you lose 2-3s on the first 2-3 laps. Even with good rhythm you don't make it up.

We have done something t💙o make us more com🐎petitive.

[My win] has sunk in. I watched it back in disbelief. I've never ridden like that before. Amazing to have🗹 that emotion.

I'm ready to do it all over again.

We're in for another dodgy weekend.

Going back to 2019, apart from turning the bike off on the grid, it was a good weekend. I've always had reꦜasonable pace here. It feels good to be back.

Buriram is not the most technical track. With the Ducati, we'll be strong no matter t൩he conওditions.

Enea Bastianini

I am no𓆉t close to Fabio - 49 points behind. I have to push in every session, to do the best possible in every race.

After, we will see where we are in the last race.

Last weekend was difficult. I made a mistake 🥂on the Friday, then the qualifying wasn't easy and I cr൩ashed.

The conditions here are similar to Sat🐽urday at Motegi💙.

Now qualify💖ing is very important. Th🧔e bikes areso close, very similar.

I was quite sad, not angry, a𝓀bout🐭 what happened on Sunday.

I went to Tokyo, had din𒀰ner with my team, I love e꧙very single person, and they were more down than me! I am the leader. I said: 'Head up'.

I will try to recover points here.

We used that mistake to reanalyse everything, to try to improve. I🐬t was not as simple as it looked, the problem.

It was a human mistake. It can happen.

I was upset, not just for the mistake, but for how the r𝄹ace went. It was shocking that they were fighting f💦or eighth place.

25 points is not 🅘that much. The level is very high. If the leader has a bad day he can finish out of the to🌊p 10.

I am fully positive.

I hope 🎃we can ride on d🐷ry but, if it's wet, I was fast in Japan.

Francesco Bagnaia

I am still thinking and analysing today.

We had to unde🐲rstand why I was struggling so much with acceleration. I got stuck behind Pol, and it was imposꦬsible to overtake.

M🍎aybe this♓ week we have found something that will help. It was strange.

On wet I was struggling so much, wherasꦜ in the past I was competitive.

I wa🔯sn't ablℱe to push because I was behind someone who was braking less.

The crash? I was trying to be in front of Fabio for just one point more. But I was too ambitious in 🐻that moment. I w𒐪as trying to overtake from so far.

After I didn't pass I tried to not touch Fabio.

There is just one corner on the straight. Sector 3 is꧒ our weakness - in 2019 we lost a lot of time to Fabio.

Fabio Quartararo

Japan was꧃ frustrating, I could🌟n't overtake. We were stuck.

I can make the time everywhere! I have to do it. Especially in the brakiꦏng zon▨e, we are strong, with the new chassis.

In the wet? Let's see. In Motegi I was ꦏtoo aggressive and it wasn't working. In the wet you༒ need to be smooth.

There is nothing I can do. We have the same biꦛke as the beginning of t🅷he year. We have a new chassis but it's not a massive change.

Next year will b🍨e more fun with more engine performance. There will be evolution. Next year we will have more facilities.

This is a new track for me with MotoGP.

We had a wet week🌄end in Japan. We will see, because it is changing a lot. It isn’t 100 percent sure.

In the wet it depends on the feeli🐬ng you have. 🦄But I feel good in the wet.

I am happy to be in Thailand, lik💃e I was in Japan, because I missed them in 2019. I remember the track from 2018, I felt good in the test and the race.

It has been rain♉ing a lot so maybe the weekend will be wet - that can be an advantage for me. It is a condition where I can make a difference.

If I have the opportunity I will try to catch it.

In case of dry conditions, we will change a few things on the💦 bike to have a better feeling.

Japan was a good race - good performance but two or three mistakes which I pai♒꧅d for.

In🧔 the dry I hope for a better feeling here, and to be competitive.

I was comfortable beꦕhind Vinales. But when you want to overtake you have to be so close. I went wide two times. Two mistakes, plus a third, I lost six positions and this is the difficult point of the race.

I must improve this area and be more in control.

At the moment I am not fast enough to lead rꦐaces. I ne♊ed to be better.

Our wet set-up is hard to say. Here, if it’s wet then♒ it’s warm which will make the tyres work better. We need to adapt. The level of water on track makes a big difference. It is hard to say if you have a clear set-up in the rain because the level of the water can change a lot.

This is a track that I🎉 like. I rode here with Moto3 and I was fast. With MotoGP? I don’t kn꧃ow but I hope to be fast.

I want to mak♎e a step with my riding to be faster this weekend.

Rain is goo𓄧d but, in MotoGP, everybody is too fast in the rain! It is complicated.

I like rain, I like mixed conditions.

The problem for me is when it is rain𓆉ing but the race is dry.

In the wet, it is about feeling and co🅠nfidence. I have a 𝄹good base in the wet.

The tyres are fantastic, a big step up from Moto2 tyres𝄹.

Tetsuta Nagashima, who will replace Takaaki Nakagami

On Sunday night they called me! They asked me.&nไbsp;

I’m happy to be here because, for th෴e past two🧔 years, I’ve had no races.

I 🎃will focus on my riding style. My first time at the track on a MotoGP bike, I have to learn. 📖I must focus on my riding with Taka’s bike.

I know the track from Moto2. I like this track. I ne𒆙ed to ride the MotoGP bike more because when I am testing, I ride alone.

Normally when I test and the raindrops come, we stop testing🙈!

I hope not [it🧸 will not rain𒁏] but it looks like yes!

These things are good for my experience.
