Sergio Perez apologises to wife after ‘bad party’ celebrating F1 Monaco GP win
The Red Bull driver won his first race of the season in Monte Carlo and has emer🍎ged as a threat to the championship that his teammate Max Verstappen holds.
But footage emerging on social media of Perez’s post-race partying has caused him to apol🍌ogise to 🧔his wife.
“I have seen the videos that have been circulating abou𒁏t me and I take responsibility for it,” he posted.
“It was a bad party that I ⭕di❀dn't know how to control at the height of the person that I am, but it was just that, a very bad party.
“People c𒉰lose to me know my values and the type of person that I am.
“And for those who just wa🌃nt to h🍰urt us, I wish you the best.
“Thank you all for your love and I apologise to all the people who love me because those videos don't represent me, not atꦚ all.
“We will not talk about this topic anymore, which only makes us forget the great momenꦇt we are living as a family. Thank you.”

Major pay rise in Sergio Perez new deal
Perez’s dramatic week included being caught on camera (again) whisper💃ing to Red Bull team principal Christian Horner that he had signed a new contract too quickly.
The news w🐬as then confirmed that Perez had signed on with Red Bull for the next two years.
“He’s in this championship just as🎀 much as Max is,” Horner said.
“The difference be💫tween the two of them is 15 points now, it’s nothing, so it’s a long way to go in this championship.”
F1 heads to Baku this weekend - Perez waꦏs last year’s winner of the Azܫerbaijan Grand Prix so is eyeing back-to-back success.
